5 Reasons to Stay at Margaritaville Resort Gatlinburg.
If you live in Nashville, TN then taking a trip to Margaritaville Resort in Gatlinburg needs to be on your family bucket list. When we moved into our new home we donated boxes and boxes of toys that the kids no longer play with. Since that day, I made it our family mission to spend money on experiences instead of toys.
Margaritaville resort Gatlinburg hosted us for a couple of nights and we had such an amazing experience. The Margaritaville Resort is located in the heart of downtown Gatlinburg. Have you been to Gatlinburg before? If you stay in a cabin way up in the mountains then you are having to drive in a ton of traffic to go to dinner or to any of the amenities. Since this resort is in the middle of downtown, it’s walking distance to some amazing attractions. Our favorite walking attractions are Ripley’s Believe it or Not Aquarium, Land shark Bar and Grill, and Anakeesta. To view more attractions in the area click here
The pool at the resort is out of this world. Grayson went up and down tise waterslide about 100 times. I kid you not. He even said at one point, “this is the best day ever.” They have a kiddie pool area, a huge outdoor pool equipped with a water slide, a hot tub, and an indoor pool. There is literally something for everyone. It’s a great resort for couples, families, or even a little girls trip!
The pool is full service. Chris and I could lounge in the pool and watch the kids while a server brought us food and drinks. I’m not going to lie, it was so nice not having to get up for anything. I loved the watermelon cucumber drink and pretzels with cheese dip. It was so good!
The room suite was huge. The shower was the best shower I have ever been in because it is a double faucet shower. The mirror in the bathroom has great lighting for putting on make up. The room has a little kitchen area with a microwave, fridge, and mini sink. There is a small table with two chairs and a T.V. with a fire place underneath it. They have so many features geared towards kids. They had two parrots that the kids would visit every time we passed the front desk. They also had a tiny little table that was great for kids. Grayson and Annie Kate loved picking out toys at the gift shop. This resort is perfect for families.
Joe Merchant’s Coffee and Provisions is a great spot for breakfast! – This little cafe has coffee, breakfast food and pastries, and lunch options as well. You have to try an iced latte with hazelnut and cinnamon. We all split a glorious pepperoni pizza and I think Annie Kate really enjoyed it the most! Do you like breakfast in bed? They also have in-room dining. All you have to do is just call guest services. They will deliver a pepperoni pizza to your room!
Overall the food, service, and entertainment made for a Schwartz Family vacation we will never forget. The staff at Margaritaville Resort Gatlinburg were so welcoming and kind.
