2. Change your air filter– Did you know that you need to change your air filter every 3 months?
3. Clean around your outdoor HVAC units– this task can cause up to a 30% energy increase.
4. Clean off and cover your outdoor furniture– Covering your outdoor furniture can help it last longer during the cold winter months.
5. Fix any cracks in your driveway– When water gets in the cracks, it can expand and cause them to get bigger.
6. Clean the gutters and install gutter guards– as the leaves start to fall, they can clog up your gutters. If you leave them clogged for too long, you can end up with a flooded interior or damaged exterior.

9. Fertilize your lawn– applying lawn fertilizer will prevent winter damage and spring weeds.
10. Bring in flowerpots– Empty, clean, dry pots, and put them away for next spring.
