Spending a weekend in Nashville is a must for the holiday season! There are tons of places to visit and see in Nashville already but especially for the holidays! I am going to share with you 5 places you need to add to your list during your visit!
If you are new here, you will quickly learn how much my family loves Gaylord Opryland Hotel! Opryland Hotel has so many things to offer during the holidays. The hotel does a great job of capturing and displaying the Christmas spirit. There are so many decorations throughout the hotel that are absolutely stunning. They also have an array of events and activities that are fun for the entire family. The hotel is a perfect place for you to stay during your weekend in Nashville.
My family recently just had a staycation of our own there – it’s our holiday tradition! If you haven’t read my recap of our visit, you must! We also love to visit Opryland during the summer! Check out my blog about our summer visit!
ABraidedBlonde Tip: Take a short walk over to Opry Mills Mall to shop from over 200+ stores!
I am sure you have seen or caught a moment at least of a Hallmark Christmas movie. The movies always have some type of magical display of Christmas lights and scenes. That is the best way I can describe cheekwood during the holidays! It is really hard to describe the true beauty of their light displays. It truly is a MUST SEE during Christmas time. Cheekwood also serves some amazing Christmas cocktails too. That is exactly why it is a perfect spot for date night!
Abraidedblonde Tip: Cheekwood is a large outdoor venue. Make sure you bring comfy shoes and wear something to keep you warm!
Every holiday season, Fairlane Hotel in Nashville, TN turns the penthouse into the Misfit Toy Bar. This amazing pop up bar is decorated entirely for Christmas! While you are there, you can order one of their Christmas themed snacks like a cheese and charcuterie board or Christmas cookies. The bar serves incredible Christmas cocktails too! The names of the cocktails are Christmas Themed like Jack Frost or You’re Snow Cute. If you are still not in the Christmas spirit, cozy up by one of their fire pits. This venue really sets the bar high for Christmas Spirit!
ABraidedBlonde Tip: Make sure to charge up your phone or bring your camera because this place has tons of cute places to take pictures! It is the perfect place to get a picture in front of the Batman Building!
Fifth + Broadway has some of the best places to eat and shop in downtown Nashville. Some of my favorite stores are Molly Green, Free People, and so many more! This location is better to explore during the day, so then you can explore the rest of downtown at night. Fifth + Broadway has some amazing murals and set-ups for good photo ops. This location is also family friendly and has something for everyone!
ABraidedBlonde Tip: Parking at the Suntrust Plaza Building is usually cheaper than parking in the Fifth + Broadway Garage. It is located right across the street next to the Ryman Auditorium.
On the rooftop of the hotel, they have the cutest heated igloos! It is such a fun experience for a group of friends, date night, or even your family. Since it is located on the roof, it can get pretty windy. You will still have an amazing time! Just make sure you dress warm with a hat and gloves.
ABraidedBlonde Tip: Book a reservation for an igloo ahead of time online. Since this is such a popular spot to visit, they book up fast!
