I am a fashion, beauty, travel, and lifestyle blogger based out of Nashville, TN! I love sharing my favorite looks, beauty tips, and travel guides! Read more below!
When I started my blog three years ago I had three goals. My first goal was to inspire and teach people that style and beauty can be easy and affordable. My second goal was to build amazing relationships with brands, blog subscribers, and Instagram followers. And lastly, my third, and the most important goal was to help this amazing community of fellow moms. I wanted to build the biggest mom squad of all time.
Being a wife and a mother of two amazing babies, I always had a passion to help show my social family how easy beauty and fashion can really be. In today’s post, I am taking over Paducah life magazine to show you what I pack in my beach bag. To view paducah life magazine click here These are real beach life essentials that I use every year.
When you plan on spending your entire day at the beach you want to be prepared, protected, and entertained.
Here is a list of all the items I take to the beach and why you need to take them as well:
Pom Pom Beach Hat: The main reason I love wearing a hat at the beach is because it protects your head from the sun. It is hard to apply sunscreen all over your entire scalp so a hat is the best way to go. The pom pom details are fun and trendy. You can purchase a similar hat here
Pom Pom Clutch: I love to place all my small items in a clutch or waterproof bag so they stay more organized in my big beach bag. Don’t you hate when you have to go searching for something in a big bag? You can purchase here.
Big Magic: Don’t forget your entertainment while you are on the beach. This book is wonderful for any girl with a creative mind. I love to think outside of the box and I feel like this book just speaks to me in so many different ways. It is such a great read. You can purchase this item here
Deodorant wipes come in a clutch when you have been at the beach all day. Wipes are not as noticeable as a deodorant stick. This brand comes in different scents and they are so easy to use. You can purchase this product here
Coola Organic Sunscreen- This is a product I am really loving and I will tell you why. It smells amazing, it is made with all natural ingredients and it doesn’t leave a greasy feel like other spray sunscreens. Compared to other sunscreens it’s a little more expensive, pricing at $36, but I think it is a great quality sunscreen. You can purchase this product here
Not Your Mother’s Texture Spray– I use this product when I want to create the perfect beach wave. Brush your hair as soon as you get out of the ocean water and apply this texture spray. You will have great waves without much effort. You can purchase this product here
Sunscreen stick: I love using a sunscreen stick for my face because it is so easy to apply. This sunscreen stick comes in handy when I am applying sunscreen on my kids as well because it blends beautifully. You can purchase this at Amazon here
Crease Proof Hair Ties: These hair ties are great because they don’t leave a crease in your hair. You can have your hair up all day and then take out the ponytail and style it for dinner. Unless it’s really sandy, you might want to wash your hair girl! Purchase similar hair ties here
Wet Brush: If your hair gets super tangled whenever you get in the water, you need this brush. I love it is specifically designed to detangle wet hair. It is also a great brush to have if your little ones have really tender heads. You can purchase this product here
FUN: Don’t forget to pack the fun!!!
I hope you enjoyed reading about my beach life essentials. I make some of the best memories at the beach with my little family. Nothing beats taking naps under the canopy while cuddling my sweet babies.
