The Best Neighborhoods in Nashville

If you are younger and want more of the Nashville night-life scene then 12th South, the Gulch, and the Nations might be a place to consider. 12th south has so many great small shops, places to eat, and more! I have always told my husband if we didn’t have kids then I would definitely move to 12th South. I had a friend that lived in a condo there and she was always having so much fun!

For families some of the best areas to live are Brentwood, Mount Juliet, Franklin, Spring Hill, and Murfreesboro. These are all basically the “suburbs” of Nashville. We currently live in Murfreesboro, TN which is about 35 minutes outside of Nashville with our family of four. The schools are great and I love only being 5 minutes away from shopping, dinning, etc. We will probably live here for years!

Things to Do in Nashville

• Stay at the Gaylord Opryland Resort during Christmas time
• Watch a country music show at Grand Ole Opry
• Visit 12th South for lunch at Bar Taco
• Watch a country music show on the General Jackson Showboat
• Visit the Nashville Zoo
• Attend a Nashville Preds Game
• Visit downtown Broadway at night
• Cheekwood in Bloom in the spring to see the tulips bloom
