Pigeon Forge, TN is a great place to visit with family and friends! I have been visiting Pigeon Forge since I was a little girl. There is so much to see and do in these great Smokey Mountains. We just got back from a girl’s trip and it honestly was so fun! I have rounded up some of my favorite places to go while visiting Pigeon Forge!
Where to Go
Pigeon Forge is loaded with a lot of attractions! This is why so many families love to visit. Every year we try out a new attraction!
Dollywood Theme Park– Dollywood is a beautiful theme park owned by the famous Dolly Parton. I was honestly so surprised how many roller coasters were there. There are also great attractions for little kids up to teenagers. I honestly can’t wait to go back! Make sure you try the cinnamon bread, meet smokey the bear, and pack a light backpack or fanny pack.
Pink Jeep Tours– Take a ride up the mountain in a pink jeep. If you really want to see wildlife (a bear for example), nature, and a killer mountain view, then you have to book a tour with Pink Jeep Tours. My favorite part was the off-roading. This attraction is over and hour a lot of fun!
Toy Box– if you are looking for a really fun place to do mini-golf then you need to try Toy Box!
Titanic Museum– The Titanic museum is a fun attraction because you learn so many interesting things about the Titanic. There are so many different artifacts and they all tell a story. They also have a replica of the famous staircase that you can take pictures on.
Pigeon Forge Snow– take a super-fast tube ride down the snow! My kids love Pigeon Forge Snow because it’s basically a big giant slide. They even have fake snow for the kids to play in and an upstairs sitting area for the parents to take a little break. It can be a little chilly in there so bring a light jacket and make sure you are wearing pants.
Flavortown– Flavortown has a bowling alley, arcade, and restaurant!
The Island– The Island is filled with shopping, dining, and fun attractions. This is where the famous Paula Dean Restaurant is located.
Where to Eat
Azul Cantina for tacos and margs!
Old Mill Pottery House Cafe for dinner. They have great meat + sides!
Pucket’s Grocery for lunch. They have great nachos, banana pudding, and fried chicken.
Mama’s FarmHouse for family-style breakfast.
Cinnaholic for amazing cinnamon rolls.
Flapjacks for breakfast skillets.
Where to Stay
Hearthside Cabin Rentals has a ton of places to stay in the Pigeon Forge area! The cabins overlook the mountains and are next to all the attractions in Pigeon Forge. We stayed in King of the Mountain. King of the Mountain had 18 bedrooms, 18 bathrooms, and sleeps 84 people! The cabin had an indoor pool, hot tubs, a theater room, and more.
Margaritaville Island Inn is so beautiful and is located at the Island in Pigeon Forge. This would be perfect if you want dining and attractions right next to where you are staying in Pigeon Forge. The best part is that the rooftop pool overlooks the Island! It has really beautiful rooms, a rooftop bar, a spa, and more!
Pigeon Forge has endless fun for your next family vacation! Don’t forget to pack comfortable shoes because you can do some serious walking at Dollywood and all the attractions.
