I cannot believe I have been married for two years? I remember when I first met Chris at a pool party in Nashville thinking he is super cute and VERY nice. He was one of those guys that just bought me drinks all night and did not try to take me home. When I first met him I was into douchebags. Seriously like the douchier the better! We are not perfect by any means. We mainly fight over how much golf he enjoys to play on the weekend. I want to hang out with him, is that such a bad thing? Marriage is NOT easy.
I hate seeing women getting in relationships where they think they can CHANGE a man. I will never change Chris. There is nothing I want to change (besides the amount of time he spends on the golf course.) I knew what I was getting into when I married him. I remember one time a group of ladies asked me one advice to give another women that is about to tie the knot.
My number one tip……MAKE TIME FOR YOURSELF! It doesn’t matter if it is a 10 minute bubble bath. Be away from each other and allow each other to spend money on hobbies. My blogging hobby is way more expensive then his golf habit I am pretty sure. Chris knows if he snaps a few pictures for me on the weekend then I will let him play some golf. Moral of this post.. Find a man and love him for everything he is.
If you do not like something about the man you are with.. LEAVE. You have to love and adore the person you are with. You have to be willing to give up your Saturdays sometimes to let him play golf. You have to love the way he is picky, drinks tap water, and takes 4 bottles of water when he goes somewhere (when you know he will only drink 1).
P.S.- enjoy your netflix binging because when you have a baby they will want to watch Big Hero 6 on repeat. You will be binging on Disney movies.
